The article describes the steps that you need to follow to host your email with Hivium when you are hosting your website on platforms other than Hivium like, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopfiy, etc.
2. Select the website/account that you would like to host the email account in.
3. Select the "Domains" option from the menu above.
4. Add your required domain.
5. Now select the added domain and select the "DNS Records" option from the left pane.
6. You need to copy a few records to your Domain Registrar or where you host your nameservers. Open a new browser tab and login to their system.
7. Create a new "A" record at your domain registrar/nameserver provider and copy the "A" record for "mail" as seen in your Hivium Hub portal.
8. If you need to use POP, SMTP, an IMAP, create "CNAME" records at your domain registrar/nameserver provider and copy the "CNAME" records for "imap", "pop", and "smtp" as seen in your Hivium Hub portal.
9. Create a new "MX" record at your domain registrar/nameserver provider and
copy the "MX" record for "@" as seen in your Hivium Hub portal.
10. Next create a "TXT" record at your domain registrar/nameserver provider and copy the "TXT" record for "@" as seen in your Hivium Hub portal. It should look like "v=spf1 a mx include:spf-c.mailbaby.net ~all".
11. Next create a "TXT" record at your domain registrar/nameserver provider
and copy the "TXT" record for "hostingcp._domainkey" as seen in your Hivium Hub portal. It
should look like "v=DKIM1; h=sha256; k=rsa;".
Once you have copied all these records, wait for a few hours for the records to propagate all over the internet. Once the records have propagated, your email will start working.
