How to delete a FTP account in cPanel?

The article provides you with the steps to delete a FTP account in cPanel.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Step 2: Click the FTP Accounts button in the Files section.


Step 3: Find the FTP account you want to remove, and click the Delete button to the right.


You will now see the option, choose if you want to Delete the User's Home Directory. If you’re not sure then choose Delete button. If you need to, you can always go back and delete the unneeded files.

The FTP account should now be deleted successfully.
