How to change the upload_max_filesize variable while using cPanel?

If you have received an error such as "The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini", when trying to upload files, you can follow this guide to increase the maximum upload size. While you may be receiving this error in WordPress, to fix it you'll need to log in to your cPanel account.

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Scroll down to "Software" and select the option "Select PHP version".
3. Select the "Options" tab beside the "Extensions" tab on the top.
4. Scroll down to the label which says "upload_max_filesize".
5. Select the appropriate value according to your requirement.
6. Once set you will see a message saying "Success - Option upload_max_filesize successfully saved" in a green color on the top right hand side.
